Voters In Nevada Reject EFCA In Any Form & Oppose Candidates Who Support It
Elimination Of Secret Ballot, Binding Arbitration, Workplace Access & Quickie Elections All Rejecte

Washington, D.C. (December 17, 2009) – The Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI) today released recent polling conducted in Nevada concerning the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act (EFCA) and the results were unequivocal and overwhelming: voters reject EFCA in any form, oppose candidates who support the job-killing bill, and will not endorse any form of the legislation moving forward in the U.S. Senate.

“Today, Harry Reid received more proof that the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act is unacceptable to his constituents.  Reid has a simple choice, choose to stand with voters in Nevada or side with Big Labor bosses in Washington, D.C.,” said Katie Packer, executive director of the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI).  “Not only do voters in Nevada reject EFCA as it is written, they oppose any iteration of the legislation that forces unionization on small businesses and workers.  During this difficult economic time, Nevadans understand the Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act will result in massive job loss and increased unemployment, the only question is whether the Senate’s Majority Leader appreciates that reality.”
